Our firm recently organized an enlightening Summer Series Tour to the new Agora warehouse under construction here in St. Petersburg. This project is a design-build between WJA and our construction division WJCreate. The tour was led by Mark Losee. This experience provided our team with valuable insights into the construction process, further enhancing our ability to best serve our clients.
During the tour, we had the privilege of observing the fascinating process of pouring insulated cast-in-place panels that would eventually be lifted into place to form the warehouse’s exterior walls. This method showcased the precision and attention to detail required in construction, from strategic machinery placement and ensuring proper installation to guarantee structural integrity. It deepened our understanding of the complexities involved in constructing large-scale projects and reinforced our dedication to delivering superior craftsmanship.
Our team gained valuable firsthand knowledge of the construction side of our industry. This experience strengthens our ability to collaborate effectively with construction teams, enabling us to better coordinate the design and build phases, resulting in seamless and successful project delivery.
As a design firm, we believe that understanding the construction process is essential to providing comprehensive and efficient services to our clients. The Hard Hat Tour was a valuable opportunity for our team to expand our expertise and further refine our approach to delivering outstanding projects.
This Summer Series Tour to the warehouse construction site served as a reminder of the interconnected nature of our industry, where collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning are vital for delivering exceptional results. We are excited to apply the valuable insights gained from this experience to future projects, ensuring that we continue to exceed our clients’ expectations and contribute to the growth and development of our community.
