Lisa Wannemacher


Lisa Wannemacher, AIA, founded the firm in 1992. Under her guidance and support, the firm has completed hundreds of projects throughout Florida, including over 250 projects in the City of St. Petersburg. Much of her work is awarded by the industry and recognized by international media.

She has worked with an extensive number of municipal and commercial clients with complex program requirements. Her ability to design functional facilities that meet the needs of multiple user groups and various interests, while still balancing the client’s budget, is a pillar of the firm’s continued success.
In 2014, the St. Petersburg Chamber named her Small Business Woman of the Year. Her multitude of community involvements include: Board of Directors for the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce, the Chamber’s Green Council, Board of Directors of the Ovation Condominium Owner’s Association and its Building & Grounds Committee, and the City’s Community Preservation Committee, among many others.
Born and raised in Toledo, Ohio, Lisa moved to St. Petersburg in 1986 after graduating from Kent State University. Lisa is a registered architect in Florida and a member of the American Institute of Architects.

Fun fact: Lisa was the first woman at Kent State University to be awarded a four-year, full-ride athletic scholarship.

Continuing the athletic lifestyle, she has competed in several triathlons and marathons. In her mentoring and lectures, she’s said, “To be a strong businessperson, it really helps to be a strong, healthy, fit human being.
