Earlier this week it was announced that The James Museum of Western and Wildlife Art was selected to receive the 2019 AIA Florida/Caribbean Honor Award of Excellence for Renovations and Additions. The award which recognizes excellence in architecture and design will be presented at the 2019 AIA Florida Convention in Orlando this July.
In April WJ Architects along with Harvard Jolly Architecture and Yann Weymouth, received top honors for their work on the James Museum by Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council earning the One Bay McIntosh Award. The council’s Future of the Region Awards program highlights projects and programs that exemplify regionalism, and recognizes outstanding achievements and contributions that benefit the regional community.
