We are excited to announce the groundbreaking of St. Lucie Fire Station 20, attended by City of Port St. Lucie, Remnant Construction, and WJArchitects in June 2024. This state-of-the-art facility has been specifically designed to address the increasing call volume and improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the community’s fire services.
This design will also be used for the upcoming Fire Station 19, showcasing a prototype that prioritizes both firefighter health and operational efficiency. The station features three bays to accommodate various fire apparatus. Additionally, the station is equipped with advanced air filtration systems, decontamination zones, and ergonomic living quarters. These features minimize exposure to hazardous conditions, thus promoting a safer working environment for firefighters.
As we break ground on Fire Station 20, we look forward to the positive impact it will have on the community.
